Battersea Power Station

Battersea Power Station's four white chimneys, on a building by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, rose beside the Thames between 1929 and 1955. It generated electricity until 1983, was later listed Grade II*, and reopened as a mixed-use development in 2022.
