Covent Garden

Covent Garden began as a produce market on land laid out by Inigo Jones in the 1630s and grew into London's main fruit and vegetable market. The wholesale trade moved out in 1974, and the Grade II listed market halls reopened as a shopping and street-performance hub still busy today.
